Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Six months to one year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Forklift Certification
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to read and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Good communication skills.
  • Must possess basic math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect all personal protective equipment (PPE) (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.)
  • Confirm materials match purchase order specifications
  • Inspect for any damage or quality issues
  • Accurately receive items in system with correct Receiving location
  • Stamp and sign all delivery documents upon completion in the system
  • Properly label received items with part numbers and QTY's
  • Report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor using NCR process
  • Record weights or dimensions if necessary for inventory accuracy
  • Inbound lanes clear and available for unloading daily/PM
  • Inbound lanes / Penalty clear and available for unloading daily/PM
  • Paperwork is Scanned into appropriate Folder by Plant
  • Return unused materials to designated warehouses/outbound lanes
  • Investigate variances
  • Available for counts and ad hoc requests as needed
  • Responsible for inventory control, including determining levels, identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy.
  • Enters inventory into software system.
  • Practices safe material handling techniques.
  • Filing of M/S’s, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
  • Responsible for filing freight claims for damaged goods.
  • Manage transfers.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
  • Completes training as required, including safety training, certification and testing.
  • Reinforces culture of safety by utilizing all appropriate resources to safely perform all functions of the job.
