About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory control of incoming and outgoing supplies and materials. This role also involves organizing, sorting, and transferring goods between locations. The clerk will monitor packages from start to finish, ensuring proper handling techniques are used. They may operate a lift truck or use a hand truck to move shipments. Responsibilities include unloading trucks and delivery receivables, maintaining an accurate log of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately. This position provides additional backup support for the shipping and receiving department and is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pull, push, lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Must have valid Arkansas driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
