About The Position

GeoControl Systems, Inc. is a HUBZone company that is required to maintain a Federally mandated level of employees residing in a qualified HUBZone. This position is non-exempt and requires HUBZone residency. The role involves receiving and issuing hardware, updating the inventory database, and delivering/picking up materials. It requires manual labor, including lifting, bending, and reaching, as well as proper handling of flight hardware. Responsibilities also include packaging, marking, labeling, and controlling flight and training hardware, along with hazardous materials handling and storage of sensitive equipment.

Requirements

  • Must reside in a qualified HUBZone (home residence).
  • Non-exempt position.
  • Ability to perform basic manual labor including lifting, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to properly handle flight hardware.
  • Ability to handle hazardous materials.
  • Ability to store sensitive equipment (e.g., Precision cleaning, ESD, temperature).
  • Ability to maintain and update charts and metrics.
  • Ability to attend meetings.
  • Ability to answer questions and understand applicable procedures and information.
  • Ability to identify and solve ordinary problems and day-to-day issues.
  • Ability to sign for and take delivery of hardware.
  • Ability to provide first look ID and damage assessment.
  • Ability to perform initial receipt into the SARAH inventory database.
  • Ability to transfer hardware to Receiving Inspection.
  • Ability to package, label, and store hardware.
  • Ability to issue and return hardware per approved work authorization documents.
  • Ability to monitor and update charts and reports.
  • Ability to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to provide pickup and delivery of hardware to local vendors and on-site destinations.

Responsibilities

  • Receipt and issue of hardware with computer updates to the inventory database.
  • Delivery and pick up of hardware and material from the local area.
  • Frequent lifting, bending and reaching in order to support basic manual labor of warehouse functions.
  • Proper handling of flight hardware.
  • Packaging, marking, labeling and control of flight and training hardware.
  • Hazardous materials handling and storage of sensitive equipment (i.e. Precision cleaning, ESD, temperature, etc).
  • Maintain and update charts and metrics as required.
  • Attend meetings.
  • Answer questions, understand applicable procedures and information as needed.
  • Eliminating ordinary problems and provide solutions to day-to-day issues that may arise.
  • Sign for and take delivery of hardware delivered to the receiving dock.
  • Provide first look ID and damage.
  • Perform initial receipt into the SARAH inventory database.
  • Transfer hardware to Receiving Inspection.
  • Package, label and store as necessary depending on the type and Class of hardware or equipment.
  • Issue and return hardware to and from production labs per approved work authorization documents.
  • Monitor and update charts and reports as required.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Provide pickup and delivery of hardware to local vendors and on-site destinations.

Benefits

  • Pay and benefits comply with the Area-Wide Wage Determination (AWD) applicable to the contract.
  • Will pay no less than the amount included in the AWD for the corresponding labor category.
  • Eligible to receive the Health and Welfare Benefit included in the AWD, less the cost of certain benefits, including retirement.
