About The Position

Creative Safety Supply is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I to support warehouse operations. The role ensures client orders are shipped accurately, incoming packages are verified, and inventory and shipping records are kept up to date. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and is performed in the office/warehouse; remote work is not available. Pay is $18.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience. The position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is classified as non-exempt and hourly.

The work takes place in a warehouse with fluorescent lighting, regular interruptions, and moderate noise. Physical requirements include standing or sitting for long periods, moving around the warehouse, operating heavy machinery as needed, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check before the start date.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and verify counts and quality; promptly report discrepancies.
• Verify and record all items loaded for shipment.
• Maintain accurate shipping records, including returns and dunnage.
• Verify packaged items before shipping them to customers.
• Update shipment data for order accuracy and billing purposes.
• Prepare bills of lading and shipping tickets.
• Load and unload trucks using hand trucks and carts.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
