About The Position
A national diagnostic laboratory providing genetic testing solutions is seeking a motivated inventory specialist to provide inventory support to its lab. The role is responsible for ordering and accurately tracking lab supplies, ensuring supplies are organized, and evaluating suppliers for cost-effective deals.
Requirements
- Proven work experience in a fast-paced environment providing field support.
- Ability to proactively anticipate field supply needs.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Examine lab and office supplies to determine shortages.
- Order new supplies while avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies.
- Ensure supplies are organized and neatly kept.
- Keep accurate track of all supplies.
- Analyze suppliers to ensure the company receives cost-effective deals.
