Requirements

  • 5 years experienced Shipper Receiver
  • Valid Tow Motor/Counterbalance Propane license required
  • Previous Forklift experience required and must have a valid forklift license
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must participate fully in QWG & Safety meetings
  • Regular attendance required
  • Willing to follow all company policies and COVID-19 related protocols as per the company requirements.
  • Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Will be required to have a valid Propane Forklift clamp truck certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment and be a team player
  • Understand the company’s quality system, how it works and how you affect the quality system
  • Understand and implement the company’s Quality Policy
  • Work in a safe manner
  • Complete safety check at the start of your shift on the fork lift and operate the equipment in a safe manner
  • Check and follow shipping instructions
  • Check all trailers for debris, damage and sweep out trailers
  • Locate orders in the warehouse
  • Ensure all units are identified
  • Check counts and number of units
  • Check pallet instructions
  • Correct any non-conformances before loading
  • Load order onto trailer
  • Initial all shipping critical quality checks on the hard copy
  • Remove units from the unitizer line
  • Check units for load tags and general appearance
  • Check strapping
  • Ensure pallets are in good repair and place units on pallets as required
  • Stack and store units and record location of storage on hard copy
  • Follow all ISO and HACCP procedures
  • Report all problems to your Supervisor/Manager when they occur
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Abide by all plant rules, safety rules, COVID 19 and regulations of the Company
