About The Position

The Customer Service/Warehouse Associate works with customers to perform sales, logistics and warehouse activities to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to produce and increase revenues for Reinders, Inc. Responsible for managing customer relationships; accurately and efficiently processing and preparing sales orders received over the phone, email, in person, web, or fax; assisting customers with technical questions, account maintenance, invoicing and ensuring their experience with Reinders is positive and productive. Will load and unload trucks, move bulk materials, and process inbound and outbound orders. Must be able to lift 50lbs daily. Additionally, will assist with delivery driving to transport orders of equipment, materials, and supplies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum one-year experience in customer service
  • Strong business and telephone communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and use of fractions and decimals.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Qualify as fit for duty under federal DOT guidelines by holding a federal medical card, as appropriate for Tier driver status.
  • Requires the ability to pass forklift operator course and drive a forklift.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office; specifically, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Outgoing and engaging communication style to interact positively with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to take on any necessary tasks to assist customers and fulfill all necessary duties.
  • Accountable, reliable, and willing to take ownership.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including alternating between standing, sitting, walking, bending, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the green industry is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service through greeting, reporting and regular follow up.
  • Process and enter orders in a timely manner.
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to coordinate resolution for customer issues regarding product, pricing, lead-times, or quality.
  • Develop and communicate customer quotes.
  • Assist Reinders’ sales and service teams.
  • Load and unload orders, stock inventory, and maintain warehouse.
  • Acquire and utilize knowledge of all Reinders products and services.
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload vehicles.
  • Occasionally deliver orders to appropriate customers and maintain appropriate Tier driver status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
