About The Position

The Shipper Loader works at International Paper’s Lexington Box Facility in Lexington, South Carolina. This hourly, full-time position is scheduled for 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The role requires operating a sit-down propane forklift and using an RF scanner to move, count, inspect, and record items across production, warehouse, and shipping areas. The position also supports quality control, daily forklift safety checks, and housekeeping to help meet AIB standards.

Requirements

• Be a qualified and certified sit-down propane forklift driver.
• Have at least 2 years of sit-down propane forklift experience using an RF scanner.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Have basic shop math skills.
• Accurately read and record figures.
• Work effectively as a team member.
• Be able to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Unload units from the production line and store them in designated warehouse locations.
• Load and unload trailers as required.
• Compute and record totals of tallied figures on the proper forms.
• Examine and sort items being tallied.
• Record the number and type of defects for quality control purposes.
• Count units and kits and calculate totals.
• Issue receipts.
• Move tallied items to storage, shipping, or production areas.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks to help ensure AIB standards are met.
• Perform daily safety checks on forklifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
