About The Position

Tru Vue, part of Apogee Enterprises’ Performance Surfaces segment, is hiring a Material Handler for its Faribault, Minnesota facility. The role moves, tracks, and manages materials throughout the facility; supplies production lines; and supports shipping, receiving, inventory, staging, packaging, labeling, and quality checks. The position uses inventory systems to record materials and transactions and contributes to team operations and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time second-shift role scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Pay is $19.00–$21.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift premium. The work takes place in a manufacturing environment and may involve extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting, as well as noise, varying temperatures, and proximity to moving equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and quality-driven.

Responsibilities

• Move, track, and manage materials throughout the facility.
• Supply production lines to keep operations running efficiently.
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
• Maintain accurate inventory, including cycle counts and FIFO.
• Stage and prepare materials for production and shipment.
• Use inventory systems to track materials and transactions.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and quality checks.
