About The Position

The Forklift Driver keeps the production area supplied with resin, supplies, color, and packaging materials. The role operates the Mould Tek Material Handling system, sets up virgin and regrind materials, color changes, and other additives, and transfers finished goods to storage while maintaining production entry sheets. The driver also provides machine relief during coffee and lunch breaks and performs shop logics coding, hot stamper, and HTL role changes. Other duties may be assigned by the Supervisor or Manager. The position includes safety responsibilities and contributing improvement ideas to support the orientation and retention of new employees and improve operations.

Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a licensed or qualified forklift operator, or able to become licensed.
Willingness to work in a cooperative environment.
Willingness and physical ability to fulfill the job requirements.

Responsibilities

Supply the production area with resin, supplies, color, and packaging materials.
Operate the Mould Tek Material Handling system and set up virgin and regrind materials, color changes, and other additives as needed.
Transfer finished goods to the storage area and maintain production entry sheets.
Assist with coffee and lunch break relief at the machine.
Perform shop logics coding.
Perform hot stamper and HTL role changes.
Carry out other duties as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
Support safety and bring forward continuous improvement initiatives to improve orientation and retention of new employees.
Identify and bring improvement opportunities to the Shift Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.
