About The Position

The Four Seasons Yacht I is a spectacular vessel featuring 95 expansive suites, world-class dining, wellness, and entertainment, offering numerous industry firsts including the largest accommodations and unparalleled hospitality across the oceans. It boasts 679 ft. in length, 34,000 Gross Tonnage, 95 Suites, and a 1:1 Guest/Staff Ratio, with eleven onboard restaurant and lounge locations. The Shipboard Director of Food and Beverage supports the Planning Committee in making key strategic and operational decisions for the FS Yacht. This role involves managing all Food & Beverage operations onboard, including restaurants, bars, lounges, in-suite dining, stewarding, and crew dining areas. The primary responsibility is to provide the highest level of food quality and service, and to lead, mentor, and develop teams through 'start with the heart' leadership. The Director will collaborate closely with the Yacht General Manager to create and implement innovative culinary concepts, manage budgets, and uphold the highest standards of service and hygiene.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in food and beverage management
  • At least 3-5 years in a senior management role
  • Exceptional communication skills and command of English language
  • Fully versed with food & beverage operational systems

Nice To Haves

  • A Hospitality Management Degree is preferred
  • Relevant experience in Leadership Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Advanced certifications or diplomas in culinary arts, food and beverage management, wine certification, or related areas are considered ideal
  • Proven experience in luxury hospitality, yacht or luxury cruise line operations is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the Planning Committee, who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the FS Yacht
