About The Position

As a member of the community Cabinet team, the Director of Food and Beverage directs all aspects of the culinary and dining operations. The selected candidate will ensure a high quality food product and welcoming atmosphere and presentation experience for residents and guests.

Requirements

10 years of progressive food and beverage management experience
Must be able to use a Point of Sale (POS) systems
Microsoft Office computer skills is required
Current state health and sanitation certification is required
Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required or must be willing and able to become CPR and First Aid certified
Bachelor's Degree in related field is required; degree in Hospitality is preferred. Equivalent years of experience with high school diploma or GED equivalent will be considered.
Ability to supervise, hire, train and motivate staff
Strong Microsoft office skills
Effective communication, financial acumen, organization and team-building skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required; hospitality degree preferred
Current state health and sanitation certification
Ability to become Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Food and Beverage Executive

Nice To Haves

Previous position with similar responsibilities in a high-end restaurant, club, hotel, or senior living company is preferred
Prior oversight of multiple Food & Beverage venues is preferred
Ability to become a Certified Dietary Manager and a Certified Food and Beverage Executive is preferred
