Ship/Receiving Lead - Day Shift

About The Position

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with strong communication skills and a strong work ethic for a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. The role requires proficiency in the responsibilities and tasks associated with S/R Clerk levels 1, 2, and 3, along with a deeper understanding, enhanced skills, a record of successful warehouse performance, and readiness to take on additional responsibilities. The role includes advanced warehouse tasks across picking, receiving, inventory control, and shipping. These include cross-training to back up other warehouse roles; fulfilling complex or customized orders; auditing inventory and analyzing inbound performance; using demand forecasting and advanced investigation techniques to optimize inventory and resolve discrepancies; processing customer returns; and analyzing and reporting on on-time delivery KPIs.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate proficiency and competence in responsibilities associated with S/R Clerk levels 1, 2, and 3.
Cross-train in receiving, shipping, and inventory control to provide backup during peak periods or staff absences.
Fulfill complex orders, including customized orders and orders with specialized packaging requirements.
Conduct in-depth audits of designated inventory areas or categories for accuracy and compliance with company policies and standards.
Assist in evaluating inbound performance metrics and collaborate with the Procurement team to optimize vendor relationships.
Use demand forecasting techniques and data analysis to anticipate inventory needs and optimize stock levels.
Investigate inventory discrepancies using system transactions, physical inventory, and product specifications.
Process customer returns, including inspecting and documenting items and determining whether they should be restocked or disposed of.
Analyze KPI results to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve on-time delivery.
Generate regular reports and dashboards showing On-Time Delivery Performance KPIs and changes over time.
