About The Position

This is a 2nd shift position responsible for various tasks within the shipping and receiving team. The role involves processing orders, organizing paperwork, building and preparing skids for shipment, and ensuring accuracy through quality checks. The process includes obtaining necessary documentation, organizing materials, breaking down and building skids, labeling totes, creating master labels, staging skids, and final preparation for shipment.

Requirements

• Ability to follow a step-by-step process.
• Attention to detail for accurate labeling and order fulfillment.
• Physical ability to break down and build skids.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation (KANBANs, manifest sheets, shippers).
• Ability to use PLEX system for labeling and staging.

Responsibilities

• Obtain KANBANs, manifest sheets, and shippers from the Shipping Office.
• Organize paperwork in the Toyota Area.
• Break down skids as needed for building.
• Build skids for outgoing shipments.
• Pull PLEX labels and insert KANBAN cards into each tote on the skid.
• Build the master label in PLEX and stage the skid in PLEX.
• Place the master label on the manifest sheet and place the manifest sheets on the skid.
• Stack checked skids, wrap skids, and place them in the staging area.
• Repeat the process until all orders are completed.
