About The Position

The Shift Supervisor leads coffeehouse shifts with craft and care, helping create a warm, welcoming space where customers and the community can connect. The role includes directing and coordinating other employees, preparing and coaching the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, and helping the store meet operating standards for product quality, cash handling, safety, and security. The supervisor is expected to provide consistent customer service and work flexible hours as needed.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position involving constant customer interaction and fulfilling customer requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
