About The Position

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader who supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed. The role includes supervising and communicating with the store crew, assisting customers and handling customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and executing merchandise stocking, pricing, displays, signage, inventory, and department resets. This is a full-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 40. The typical pay range is $17.30–$26.30 per hour. Actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Requirements

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a retail supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with store management and store crews.
Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
Promote CVS customer service practices by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
Price merchandise and stock shelves.
Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
Reset departments according to planograms (POGs).
Lead store staff and ensure smooth store operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
Ensure completion of all opening and closing procedures.
