About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures. The role is part-time, with 20 anticipated weekly hours, and may involve early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts as well as overtime and responding to urgent store issues.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments according to planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure store operations and opening and closing procedures are completed when a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite.
