About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance and building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps store operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures. The role includes supervising and coordinating crew activities, communicating with management and staff, assisting customers, handling customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and carrying out merchandise presentation and inventory tasks.

This is a part-time position with 29 anticipated weekly hours. The listed pay range is $17.00–$26.00 per hour. The actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. The position is eligible for a range of benefits and programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility, including dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following POGs.
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
