About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, helps ensure smooth store operations, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures.

The role includes supervising and coordinating store crew activities, communicating with store management and crew, assisting customers, handling customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, and carrying out merchandise presentation and inventory activities.

This is a part-time position with an anticipated schedule of 20 hours per week. The role requires flexibility to work some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent store issues. The typical pay range is $16.50–$24.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors such as experience, education, and geography. Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS’s customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and help ensure smooth operations when a manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing procedures.
