About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is seeking a Shift Supervisor to assist the management team in achieving revenue, expense, and profit objectives. This role involves training staff on production goals, merchandise standards, customer service expectations, mission integration, and adherence to company policies. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of business acumen, interpersonal skills, and leadership to meet store performance standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or the equivalent.
Ability to learn how to correctly use all point of sale and donation systems, office computer and telephone.
Skills to work in stressful conditions and use good judgment, patience and understand.
Follow oral and written instructions.
Familiarity with business related mathematics.
Supervise and train staff in production, merchandising, checkout and customer service.
Bend, stoop, reach, and twist, lift, push, pull and move items up to 40 pounds.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
May have to occasionally work outdoors where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.

Nice To Haves

One year of retail sales experience preferred.
