About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will help create a warm and welcoming coffeehouse where every cup of coffee can spark connection. You will lead each shift with craft and heart, helping make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community. The role includes directing and coordinating work, preparing and coaching the preparation of food and beverages, and meeting store operating policies and standards.

Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverage and food preparation, cash handling, and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation.
At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate the work of other employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests, including recipe changes such as temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
Meet store operating policies and standards for beverage and food quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide customer service and fulfill customer requests.
