About The Position
The Shift Supervisor directs the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversees completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure. This is a full-time position with Crothall Healthcare at Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Arkansas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; weekend and holiday availability is required. The fixed pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Prior supervisory and Environmental Services (EVS) experience is required.
Requirements
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Prior Environmental Services (EVS) experience.
- Weekend and holiday availability.
- Be able to perform the position’s essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during the assigned shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policies and procedures.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work-performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
- Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
- Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
