SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Shift Supervisor directs associates’ activities during a specific shift and ensures assigned job expectations are completed while company policies and procedures are maintained. The position is based at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. The schedule is full time, with days and hours that may vary, and open availability is required. Prior managerial experience is required. The role may include periods without work during educational breaks when food-service needs decline or cease; such periods may be unpaid temporary layoffs. Depending on business needs, the employee may be required to work year-round, potentially at a different location during break periods.

Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations.
- Ensure policies and procedures are maintained.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable work-performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management.
- Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Serve as the contact person for employee complaints or requests for time off.
- Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and seek advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
