About The Position

At Chick-fil-A DFW Airport, the Shift Supervisor role is a leadership position responsible for overseeing both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and team development. In this fast-paced airport environment, Shift Supervisors lead by example, support Team Members in real time, and ensure every shift reflects Chick-fil-A’s commitment to excellence, speed, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality. Shift Supervisors apply the Fundamentals of Execution and the “Winning Hearts Every Day” strategy to drive consistency in food quality, service speed, and guest satisfaction while maintaining a positive and supportive team culture. This role is ideal for individuals who are strong leaders, thrive in high-volume environments, and are passionate about developing others while ensuring operational success across all areas of the restaurant.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous leadership experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • Strong ability to lead both FOH and BOH teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume airport environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold Team Members accountable
  • Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and run shifts across both FOH and BOH operations
  • Lead, coach, and support Team Members in real time during service
  • Ensure execution of all kitchen and front-of-house station responsibilities
  • Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and guest service standards throughout the shift
  • Support training and development of new and existing Team Members
  • Manage workflow across all stations to ensure smooth operations during peak travel periods
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency
  • Ensure proper inventory management, stocking, and product rotation
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, and airport regulations
  • Assist with opening, closing, and shift transition procedures
  • Communicate effectively with General Manager and leadership team
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
