About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you lead with craft and heart to help create a warm, welcoming coffeehouse where customers feel connected and every visit can brighten their day. The role involves directing and coordinating employees, preparing and coaching the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customer specifications, and meeting store operating, product-quality, cash-handling, safety, and security standards. Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfilling their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Availability to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate the work of other employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer requests, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
Meet store operating policies and standards for beverage and food quality, cash handling, safety, and security.
Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
