About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a warm, welcoming space for the community. You help create meaningful customer moments and support the preparation of coffee, beverages, and food to Starbucks standards. The role includes directing and coordinating other employees’ work while meeting store operating, customer service, cash-handling, safety, and security standards.

Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
At least six months of experience in a position involving constant customer interaction and fulfilling customer requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate the work of other employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized customer specifications.
