About The Position

The Shift Supervisor Level 2 provides customer service and helps oversee daily car wash operations. The role includes customer interaction, site upkeep, opening and closing procedures, and basic troubleshooting. The supervisor must be able to perform all Customer Service Representative and Supervisor 1 Level duties, work weekends, and demonstrate responsibility while the Site Manager is off site. This position works with minimum direction and periodic supervision in an outdoor car wash environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
Excellent sales and customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and recommend wash memberships.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Proficient computer skills and ability to learn a point-of-sale system.
Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
Ability to perform the essential duties and physical functions and work in the described conditions.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stop, crouch, and kneel.
Ability to work in damp and humid conditions and outdoor variable weather.
Ability to regularly lift or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform the job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and OSHA safety guidelines and protocols, using required personal protective equipment.
Ability to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, courteous, friendly, and attentive customer service; greet customers, answer questions, and explain wash options.
Ensure customer satisfaction and report inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
Complete all Customer Service Representative and Supervisor 1 Level job duties.
Work weekends and demonstrate responsibility while the Site Manager is off site.
Enforce safety policies and understand the functions of chemical room equipment.
Assist the Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs, including cleaning out solenoids.
Arrive on time and follow the dress and appearance code.
Perform customer interaction (60% of duties), site upkeep and cleaning/maintenance (30%), opening and closing procedures (5%), and basic troubleshooting (5%).
