About The Position

The Shift Supervisor Level 1 is responsible for providing prompt and excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and performing basic troubleshooting of car wash equipment. This role requires the ability to work independently with periodic supervision and to enforce safety policies. The position involves a significant amount of customer interaction and site upkeep, with a smaller percentage dedicated to opening/closing procedures and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to work weekends.
• Able to demonstrate responsibility while Site Manager is off site.
• Minimum 6 months as CWA before advancement.
• Ability to work in damp and humid conditions.
• Ability to work in outdoor variable weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service and some Car Wash experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
• Greets customers, answers questions, and explains wash options.
• Ensures customers are satisfied and reports any inquiries, incidents, or issues in a timely manner.
• Completes all Car Wash Attendant job duties.
• Troubleshoots basic XPT and DRB issues and follows "DRB Protocol".
• Completes "Supervisor Level DRB" training course.
• Attends Preventative Maintenance Training and completes 5 Day Preventative Maintenance.
• Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.
• Performs site upkeep, including cleaning and maintaining the site.
• Handles opening and closing procedures.
• Enforces all safety policies.
• Understands the functions of all chemical room equipment.
• Assists Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs.
• Cleans out solenoids.
