About The Position

The Shift Supervisor Level 1 position is responsible for providing prompt and excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and performing various site upkeep duties. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues, follow specific protocols, and maintain a clean and operational car wash environment. The supervisor must be able to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision, demonstrating responsibility when the Site Manager is off-site. This position is full-time and requires weekend availability.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to work weekends.
• Able to demonstrate responsibility while Site Manager is off site.
• Minimum 6 months as CWA (Car Wash Attendant) before advancement.
• Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
• Greets customers, answers questions, and explains available wash options.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and reports any inquiries, incidents, or issues in a timely manner.
• Completes all Car Wash Attendant job duties.
• Troubleshoots basic XPT and DRB issues and follows "DRB Protocol".
• Attends Preventative Maintenance Training and completes 5-Day Preventative Maintenance Reports.
• Works on time and follows the dress and appearance code.
• Performs site upkeep, including cleaning and maintaining the car wash environment (30% of duties).
• Handles opening and closing procedures (5% of duties).
• Performs basic troubleshooting (5% of duties).
• Enforces all safety policies.
• Understands the functions of all chemical room equipment.
• Assists the Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs.
• Cleans out solenoids.
