Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or more years of relevant experience or equivalent post high school vocational training or equivalent military experience
  • Strong values for Safety and Safe work practices
  • Strong values for delivering Quality products.
  • Ability to adequately troubleshoot and resolve process/equipment problems and implement countermeasures.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others through personal example and work ethic.
  • Effective change agent
  • Ability to write/update work instructions and procedures as required for documentation and training.
  • High level of self-motivation and innovation with willingness to develop these skills in others.
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Have knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, EXCEL and Word
  • A bias for action

  • Post-secondary education (college courses and/or technical certificate) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively across organization.
  • Reviews work instructions, training checklist, and module questions when teammate starts training in a module.
  • Collaborate with Shift Operations Leader to allocate labor in the department to meet the business needs.
  • Ensures teammates are current with training, both module and OMU.
  • Coordinates work activities with other teammates to ensure smooth shift change transitions.
  • Partners with Shift Operations Lead daily.
  • Conducts audit of training records for the operators on the floor.
  • Runs a module on a daily basis.
  • Back-up support in shift operations leader’s absence.
