About The Position

Super Star Car Wash is hiring a Shift Manager to lead daily operations at its Melrose location. As Manager-on-Duty, the Shift Manager is accountable for onsite culture, team performance, safety, service execution, and the overall guest experience. The role suits leaders who enjoy fast-paced environments and developing people, and offers a pathway to higher-level operational leadership. Shift Managers rotate through defined responsibility areas to develop leadership, business, and operational skills.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style.

• Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards.
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty and resolve guest and team issues with confidence and discretion.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through.
• Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness.
• Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards.
• Provide hands-on coaching and recognize team members.
• Support training completion and promote engagement and accountability.
• Model company values and enforce policies and procedures.
• Identify safety risks proactively and address issues immediately.
• Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards.
• Rotate through people and staffing leadership activities, including scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance.
• Rotate through sales and training leadership activities, including team training, coaching sales behaviors, certification support, and identifying development gaps.
• Rotate through operations and tunnel leadership activities, including site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization.
