About The Position

The Shift Leader is responsible for everything that happens during their shift at a fast-paced, clean, friendly, technologically advanced pizza location. The role oversees staffing, paperwork, cost and cash controls, inventory, food management, customer relations, store cleanliness, marketing, profitability, and adherence to company policies and standards. The Shift Leader sets an example for the crew and is expected to follow all policies and procedures and ensure the crew does the same. The job also includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by telephone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes, hands, and fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to operate all equipment.
• Ability to perform the listed store-team duties, including stocking, product preparation, inventory, order processing, and cleaning.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations and activities during the assigned shift.
• Manage staffing, paperwork, cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and food management.
• Maintain customer relations and provide great customer service.
• Follow all policies and procedures and ensure crew members do the same.
• Work to a schedule and maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain the store's image, cleanliness, and adherence to standards.
• Contribute to marketing and store profitability.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
