About The Position

Sundae is seeking a customer-service-focused Shift Leader for its retail team on 16th Street in Downtown Denver. The role leads a small team during shifts, sets an example for customer interactions and store standards, and supports store opening and closing, food preparation, inventory awareness, cash handling, promotions, and food safety. The position is described as a part-time hourly opportunity, eligible to earn overtime. Total compensation is $21.00–$25.00 per hour, including base pay and tips. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Passion for customer service.
Ability to move, traverse, or remain stationary for up to 8 hours.
Ability to regularly move up to 25 pounds for a distance of 50 feet or more.
Ability to frequently retrieve items above shoulder height and clean items above shoulder height.
Ability to occasionally climb or descend a ladder to clean or lift items stored above.
Ability to occasionally position oneself to clean, maintain equipment, and retrieve items below counter height.
Ability to constantly use manual and automatic food-service equipment and touchscreens.

Responsibilities

Lead the team during shifts by modeling positive customer interactions, portion control, and cleanliness standards.
Open and close the store promptly and efficiently, independently or with a team.
Monitor stock levels and prepare food items on time to maintain established par levels.
Learn product details and service standards thoroughly and communicate them accurately to others.
Promote loyalty programs and seasonal promotions by encouraging customer signups and enhancing the customer experience.
Handle cash responsibly and accurately complete opening and closing cash-out procedures.
Model and deliver Sundae’s customer-service standards with pride and leadership.
Participate in and contribute to staff meetings.
Maintain food safety standards and comply with regulations.
