About The Position

Every shift with our CORE Program is an opportunity to strengthen both the team and the care clients receive. As a Shift Lead, you’ll coach and support staff, keep daily operations on track, and step into direct care when needed. Your leadership will help create a collaborative, dependable environment where employees feel supported and clients can continue moving toward their goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of direct care experience
• Case Manager certification as required by program (Post-hire as needed — required within 120 days of start date)
• CPR certification (Post-hire)
• Valley de-escalation certification (Post-hire)
• Driving positions require a minimum age of 21 and a current driver's license

Nice To Haves

• One year of behavioral health experience
• Previous supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work activities and expectations of a team during assigned shifts
• Promotes a culture of strong performance and high morale
• Ensures the completion of operational goals within required timelines
• Ensures compliance with agency policy, procedure, and operational expectations
• Performs client care responsibilities including targeted case management, medication distribution, client transportation, etc.
• Completes tasks and projects as assigned by Team Lead or Program Manager
• Coordinates with program leadership to ensure shift coverage; provides on-call coverage as assigned
• Follows agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment, including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client care
• Collaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams regarding clinical aspects of treatment
• Adheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations
• Meets direct care expectations
• Participates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements
