About The Position

Tecta America Colorado is seeking a Sheet Metal Laborer to assist in its shop. The role involves installing and assembling sheet metal products, inspecting fabricated parts, and maintaining tools, equipment, and machines. Candidates should be familiar with sheet metal fabrication tools and processes, although training is available. Work takes place in shop, warehouse, and construction-site environments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Proficiency in using sheet metal fabrication tools such as shears, presses, and drills, and in reading technical drawings.
• Familiarity with cutting, bending, and assembling processes.
• Understanding of safety procedures in fabrication and installation.
• Ability to perform physical work, including frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday; overtime and weekends may be required but are not frequent.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, installation, or a related field.
• Bilingual ability.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble sheet metal products using brakes, shears, drills, and presses.
