About The Position
Comfort Systems USA MidAtlantic, LLC is a building and service provider for HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing building systems serving South Central Virginia and North Central North Carolina since 1970. The company operates more than 62,600 square feet of facilities in South Boston, Virginia, including offices, sheet metal and plumbing and piping fabrication areas, and warehousing. The role supports sheet metal installation work and safety practices. Requirements
- Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical, and logical reasoning skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on ladders, scaffolds, and/or lifts.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in sorting and assembling materials for installation.
- Load and unload fabricated parts.
- Assist with insulating and installing ductwork.
- Evaluate area safety needs and requirements, provide feedback and recommendations to technicians, and assist with implementing safety policies, procedures, and training.
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
