Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in sheet metal ductwork installation.
• Strong verbal and math skills.
• Honest and dependable personality.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to follow instructions, work independently, and work effectively within a team.
• Knowledge of trade hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Obtain an OSHA 10 certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout for ductwork routes, including hanger layout.
• Perform required ductwork offsets.
• Read, understand, and follow prints and mechanical details.
• Understand and assist with the ductwork testing process.
• Apply general knowledge of SMACNA requirements.
• Create and maintain collaborative working relationships with supervisors and co-workers.
