About The Position

This role involves performing a wide variety of sheet metal operations including shearing, forming, punching, deburring, and spot welding to meet quality standards. The fabricator will plan their work sequence using sketches, blueprints, process sheets, established procedures, schedules, and discussions. Responsibilities include performing complex layouts, setups, and inspections, as well as initiating corrective actions for complex problems with templates and tooling, and making necessary adjustments. The position also requires self-directed material handling, adherence to good housekeeping and safety practices, assisting and advising others, and performing other miscellaneous duties as needed. The employee is expected to provide their own basic tools for efficient job performance.

Requirements

Ability to set up and perform sheet metal operations (shearing, forming, punching, deburring, spot welding).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, and process sheets.
Skill in performing complex layouts, setups, and inspections.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems with templates and tooling.
Capability to perform material handling.
Adherence to good housekeeping and safety practices.
Willingness to assist and advise others.
Must provide own basic tools.

Responsibilities
