About The Position

This position provides technical and data management support services for SharePoint environments. The role involves developing and maintaining SharePoint tools, workflows, and sites to enhance document management, data organization, and reporting capabilities. The support is crucial for contract management, team activities, and tracking program documents and financial activities. The position requires research, data mining, and the creation of standardized reports and metrics to present system status and user requirements. Additionally, it involves managing version-controlled data products, monitoring content, and validating spreadsheets related to program design and historical responses. The role also supports data calls, lessons learned reports, and financial tracking within the SharePoint environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Four (4) years infrastructure and web-based development in a SharePoint software environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software suites to include Word, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Experience in Performance Metrics, Analysis, and Trending.

Responsibilities

  • Support SharePoint development of local OPC SharePoint tools, software support and upgrades such as dashboards, workflows, data maintenance, and data organization.
  • Develop SharePoint workflows to support CG contract management, team activities, and dashboards for user quick view status.
  • Mature SharePoint sites to improve document management, repository, and search/referencing functions.
  • Research and data mine in and out of SharePoint to retrieve data/status and develop/provide metrics as required.
  • Support management by organizing and maintaining configuration of a complete electronic set of current and historical program documents in a SharePoint environment.
  • Initiate, expedite, and close out process workflows related to document creation, indexing, review, delivery, and approval.
  • Create standardized reports and presentation graphs on the status of workflows and process metrics on usage.
  • Present SharePoint systems status and user requirements.
  • Store and maintain version-controlled data products processed through workflows.
  • Monitor data management repositories (addition of files, updates, etc.) and forward documentation to relevant USCG staff members.
  • Monitor content placed on SharePoint and report any issues to the COR within one (1) day of discovery.
  • Screen documents for proper marking of distribution and data rights.
  • Review contractor-submitted Data Accession List(s) and provide recommendations to the Government lead.
  • Provide support with organization, tracking, maintenance, and validation of spreadsheets that provide historical responses and decisions made in managing the design of the OPC.
  • Assist with research of historical responses for new questions.
  • Provide data, input, and editing to routine reports using provided templates.
  • Track and support reporting on program documentation, including memoranda, routine MSAM documentation, and decisional documents.
  • Maintain the repository established on the Government-provided SharePoint site, including follow-up on documents in concurrent clearance and sequential approval processes.
  • Support the administration, collection, and submission of data calls (excluding inherently governmental tasks), responding within specified timeframes.
  • Provide data for and assist in the preparation of lessons learned reports and briefs, including capturing data between hulls and utilizing metrics for comparison and evaluation.
  • Capture lessons learned between Post Shakedown Availabilities and provide recommendations to decrease cost, maintain or shorten schedule, and track performance.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, SharePoint task lists, and SharePoint sites that track and organize all program financial activities.
  • Ensure all associated requirements documents are drafted and schedules for execution and obligation are developed, organized, and maintained.
  • Develop a process and associated plan for the maintenance of existing Government reports, trackers, and documents, and for the creation, incorporation, and maintenance of new reports, trackers, and documents.
  • Attend meetings to review SharePoint status and take meeting notes.
