About The Position

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize custom SharePoint solutions across hybrid environments and cloud networks, including SharePoint Online and GCC High. The role involves architecting and deploying sophisticated business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, such as custom Power Apps, complex Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards. You will lead efforts to migrate legacy on-premises C# SharePoint solutions and workflows, and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for portals. A key aspect of this role is implementing granular access controls, security group governance, and Active Directory integration to protect highly sensitive, classified data repositories. You will participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) under an Agile/Scrum framework, providing accurate estimates and ensuring alignment with mission priorities. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technology related field (i.e. Computer Science); at least five years’ experience in application, software, and SharePoint development.
  • Must have good analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and highly effective organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint hybrid architectures, and modern SharePoint environments.
  • Solid foundation in Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, and ASP.NET.
  • Experience leveraging Microsoft Graph and REST APIs for automated data integration and custom connectors.
  • Excellent written and oral communication/interpersonal skills to effectively interface with senior military and civilian officials, managers, and peers.
  • Must be able to adapt to a changing environment
  • Must be proficient in all MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.

  • Implement granular access controls, security group governance, and Active Directory integration to protect highly sensitive, classified data repositories.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) under an Agile/Scrum framework, providing accurate estimates of effort and ensuring alignment with mission priorities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
