About The Position

The Shared Services Analyst / Senior AP Specialist is a newly created role responsible for supporting accounts payable operations while identifying opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and efficiency. This position is ideal for an experienced AP professional who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with technology and large volumes of financial data.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounts payable, shared services, or related accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Process improvement mindset with an interest in automation and technology.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience with AP automation or AI integration is a plus.
• NetSuite and expense management system experience are a plus.
• Positive, dependable, and proactive with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze accounts payable transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Research and resolve invoice, vendor, and payment discrepancies.
• Support the transition and standardization of AP processes within the shared services function.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve accounting processes.
• Assist with AP technology and automation initiatives, including AI-based solutions.
• Analyze AP data and provide reporting to support business decisions.
• Partner with accounting and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial documentation.
• Support additional shared services and accounting projects as needed.
