About The Position

We are seeking a Shared Services Specialist to support the printing, balancing, reconciliation, and quality review of hazard, claims, and loss draft checks. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of check production files, maintaining records, preparing reports, and following established procedures and controls. The ideal candidate has good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Candidates should have basic computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, as well as good oral and written communication skills and professional etiquette.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
1 Year Processing Experience
Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

Print hazard, claims, and loss draft checks for various clients according to established schedules and procedures.
Review and validate check production files prior to processing.
Balance and reconcile daily check files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Verify check totals, sequence numbers, and payment information before release.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to check printing, balancing, or reporting.
Maintain accurate records of printed checks and associated documentation.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, security procedures, and client requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve processing issues and meet production deadlines.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports as required.
Assist with quality control reviews to ensure accuracy of printed documents.
Support audit requests by providing documentation and reporting information.
Handle confidential customer and financial information in a secure manner.
Shared Services Specialist would be responsible for the primary duties listed above along with their specific duties by function.
