About The Position

The Sewer/Presser provides customers with high-quality service through skilled sewing and pressing work. The role completes alteration tasks according to Nordstrom guidelines and service standards, organizes customer alteration needs using store technology, and works with the Alterations & Store Team to meet customer expectations. The position requires completing work on time, meeting productivity goals, following proper procedures, and adapting to a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Requirements

• Previous sewing and pressing experience; 2–3 years preferred.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment.
• Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2–3 years of sewing and pressing experience.

Responsibilities
