About The Position

The Sewer/Presser provides customers with high-quality craft and service by performing sewing and pressing tasks according to Nordstrom guidelines and service standards. The role involves completing work on time, managing customer alteration needs with store technology, meeting productivity goals, and collaborating with the Alterations & Store Team. A flexible schedule based on business needs is required.

Requirements

• Previous sewing and pressing experience; a minimum of 2–3 years is preferred.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment.
• Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs.
