About The Position

Hoover is hiring a motivated, hardworking Sewer Install Apprentice to learn the skilled trade of sewer installation. The apprentice will work alongside experienced technicians and receive hands-on experience in sewer installations, trenchless pipe rehabilitation, and sewer lining repairs. Hoover provides training, tools, and support to help the apprentice develop into a skilled, independent technician.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs., kneel, crawl, and perform physically demanding work.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely around tools and equipment.

Nice To Haves

Previous plumbing, sewer, construction, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Work alongside experienced technicians to learn sewer lining installations and trenchless pipe rehabilitation.
Assist with setting up and operating sewer lining equipment, including inversion drums, compressors, curing systems, and CCTV inspection tools.
Learn to perform pre- and post-installation sewer camera inspections.
Assist with preparing resin systems, measuring liner materials, and monitoring curing processes.
Support excavation of small access points and restoration of work areas following installations.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Follow all company safety procedures and job-site standards.
Assist with maintaining company tools, vehicles, and equipment.
Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
