About The Position
This position is in Cargill's Ag & Trading enterprise, which connects producers and users of grains and oilseeds globally through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. The enterprise also offers farmer services and risk management solutions. The Settlement Specialist will support customer payments accurately and on time, and assist with moderately complex clerical and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Maintain basic proficiency with spreadsheets, business systems, and digital tools required to perform daily job responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of systems and relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to payments and inventory management.
- Provide straightforward administrative support in executing customer-focused strategies.
- Contribute to validating, communicating, and coordinating customer-focused strategies.
- Perform administrative or clerical tasks in support of improvement projects and commitments requiring a strong understanding of customer-focused practices and procedures.
- Handle moderately complex administrative, technical, or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Maintain basic proficiency with spreadsheets, business systems, and digital tools required to perform daily job responsibilities.
- Collaborate and support job families through complex issues and inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.
