Set-up Operator - Machine Tool 2nd Shift
About The Position
Training will be provided on 1st shift. After training has been completed, employee will move to 2nd shift. This role involves operating machinery and tools to set up production equipment, ensuring correct configuration and calibration of machines, and performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation. The operator will also set up and/or program operating machines, check accuracy and effectiveness in test sequences, monitor machines during operation, troubleshoot minor technical issues, cooperate with maintenance staff, and check finished products for approval. There is also an expectation to train others.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions write clear communication in English
- Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Good visual acuity
- Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Responsibilities

- Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Cooperate with maintenance staff, if necessary.
- Check finished product/product component and submit for approval.
- Ability to train others.
