About The Position

The Set-up Operator I sets up and programs operating machines, performs accuracy and effectiveness checks in various test sequences, and oversees machine ramp-up after setup. The role supports Operators with machine operation and assists Maintenance with repairs, downtime prevention, and machine inspections. It also involves following documented procedures and production and safety rules, maintaining records and tracking, checking finished products or components for approval, and using required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English.
Ability to operate complex machinery for inspection.
Good visual acuity.
Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without an employment visa or other sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Multiple years of experience operating complex machines in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

Set up and program operating machines, including performing accuracy and effectiveness checks in various test sequences.
