About The Position

The Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy invites applications for Sessional Lecturers to co-teach two sections of the following course during the 2026-27 Regular Session, Fall Term: Course Number, Section, and Name: JSGS 891.3 Public Policy Professionalism. Term and Course Dates: September 2 to December 7, 2026. CRN: 88508. Delivery Mode: This course will be delivered online (asynchronously) with an in-person residency. Course Schedule: Class runs full term with online content & assignments. In-person residency will be held September 21 (3-7PM), September 22-24 (9 AM – 5PM daily), and September 25 (9AM – 12PM). Expected Enrollment Limit: 25-30 per section. Location: Saskatoon.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in public administration, public policy, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with the MPA competencies.
  • Experience working in the public sector.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD degree is preferred.
  • Previous teaching experience, particularly at the graduate level.

Responsibilities

  • Co-teach two sections of JSGS 891.3 Public Policy Professionalism during the 2026-27 Regular Session, Fall Term.
  • Deliver course content online (asynchronously) with an in-person residency.
  • Manage online content and assignments.
  • Participate in in-person residency sessions.
  • Prepare and mark course materials.
