About The Position

The Department of Sociology, College of Arts & Science invites applications for Sessional Lecturers to teach specific courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. The courses include SOC 111.3 (Foundations in Sociology: Society, Structure, Process) in Term One (Fall 2026) and SOC 112.3 (Foundations in Sociology: Social Construction of Everyday Life) and SOC 210.3 (Families Social Structure and Social Change) in Term Two (Winter 2027). All courses are offered as Lectures with specific schedules and expected enrollment limits. The work location is Saskatoon.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an M.A. degree in Sociology is required for SOC 111.3 and SOC 210.3.
  • A Ph.D. degree in Sociology or other related discipline is required for SOC 112.3.
  • Relevant teaching experience is preferred for SOC 111.3 and SOC 210.3.

Responsibilities
